25/07/2023: This place is amazing and so yummy. I got the carne asada and it was delicious. Pepe’s service was amazing and everyone was very accommodating. 10/10

22/07/2023: …. pretty small menu with few options. Service was attentive and good, we had NY strip, bbq ribs, pizza and seabass. The NY strip was almost cooked, the salsa not very tasty, fish good, pizza nice. So overall a 4 out of 5 given the food quality which I would expect to meet higher standards in such location.

03/03/2024: Saturday evening dinner with family that spends their winters in Guayabitos. Restaurant at top of hill that takes a 70 peso cab ride to get to. Beautiful view especially watching change when sun sets and lights of Guayabitos come on. Not crowded and very attentive service. One in the group spoke Spanish so interaction with server went well, although they did have some English- so we could have made do I’m sure. Appetizer and salmon dinner which were both very good and flavourful. There had been some FaceBook reports of unhappy patrons, but was definitely not our experience on this night. Cab requested at end of meal and only slight wait for it to come from Guayabitos. Recommend.

02/01/2024: Very expensive all inclusive?? Many things not included. 10:30 pm everything shuts down except for the roof top. It’s not included. Wait staff were excellent. Was charged $35 usd for 1 hr late check out. Housekeeper came to clean my room at 5:30pm. I was out of my room 7:30am- 5:20. They wouldn’t let my wife drive up to the hotel to pick me up. Had to take my suitcase and walk out to the gate. Luckily it had stopped raining. I was expecting much more. I won’t be returning. So many hotels to choose from. A real shame. Luckily I came to visit my family I hadn’t seen in long time. They made the stay enjoyable.

27/12/2023: Espero les pueda servir para decidir sus vacaciones , yo no suelo opinar en este medio pero como desahogo, ya que somos desafortunadamente para el hotel somos números y no creo que corrigan, por que veo que comentan malas experiencias y no creo que mejoren , tomen la experiencia y se arrepentirán , servicio enfocado a los norteamericanos en todos los rublos atención etc. pero les recomiendo que se la piensen dos veces . o que busquen otras opciones .

07/02/2024: If it wasn't so far away from Puerto Vallarta, we'd have eaten several meals here. It's a 1hr+ uber ride from town and absolutely worth it. You can hang out at the much quieter Playa La Lancha (across the street through a path in the jungle) after your meal. The restaurant is attached to a surf shop as well in case you want to make this a post-surfing meal. The food is incredibly high quality and creative. The salsa macha that arrives before the meal was the best I've had. I wish I could've bottled it up and taken some home. The tostadas were top notch. I would've skipped the sashimi as there wasn't a lot going on there. If you're in Puerto Vallarta, it's easy to take an Uber back. They have wifi for you to summon your ride.

28/01/2024: Oh my. Maybe it was just an off day. Three of four were disappointed in the food. Service is always super friendly and fast. The fish was smaller than ever. Fries tasted stale. Not cold but they just had been hanging around too long. One person ordered agua chile and said it was fantastic. Inventive drinks are always wonderful. Cardamom ice crean with banana bread dessert will blow your mind. BUT 3 of the 4 of us said ... they won't go back again. Such a pity because it had been a favorite restaurant for years.
