Vista Guayabitos en Compostela

Saturday evening dinner with family that spends their winters in Guayabitos. Restaurant at top of hill that takes a 70 peso cab ride to get to. Beautiful view especially watching change when sun sets and lights of Guayabitos come on. Not crowded and very attentive service. One in the group spoke Spanish so interaction with server went well, although they did have some English- so we could have made do I’m sure. Appetizer and salmon dinner which were both very good and flavourful. There had been some FaceBook reports of unhappy patrons, but was definitely not our experience on this night. Cab requested at end of meal and only slight wait for it to come from Guayabitos. Recommend.

Beautiful view and atmosphere. We enjoyed the food. I think they could use a few more servers, but the servers we had did the best they could. We had a lovely evening and would go back.
