30/04/2024: Be aware that you are unable to pay with debit or credit card. We asked multiple times if it was possible to waive this as we didn’t not have enough to tip potentially. They repeatedly stated no. My friends and I were not prepared for this and therefore had to collect all our cash to pay the bill. We spent around 10 minutes separating the check per person ourselves for a party of 8 and counted all the money multiple times to ensure we had paid them enough and collected what we could to give them a tip- even if it was a little. We were literally pulling loose peso coins from our wallets and purses. When we were ready to pay the waiter told us “is that all the tip you are leaving?” And I confirmed as that was all the cash we had. He then began to throw a big fit about how it was just a small tip and he expects us to pay a certain percentage. I reiterated that we only had that cash and we did what we could. He then asked for my debit card and said he would put half of the cost of the bill on it and keep the rest of the cash. This is when I was like what??? I spent so much time doing the math to split a bill for a party of 8 just for him to turn back around on his word and say we can pay with card. I asked him what changed and he said it’s because he wants a tip. I told him that I would prefer not to do that because we already combined our cash and didn’t want to do more math to charge everything correctly as it had already taken me more time than I would’ve liked to. He was started being rude and then threw the money that was meant for tip back to me and then said I don’t want it and started pouting. Keep in mind that I had already had them correct the receipt as they added random charges. I only noticed because I was separating the bill to assign items to people. Also, As a native Mexican, the food was very average for the price that we paid. Be aware that the items that they give you when you first sit down - water, chips, salsa- are not free of charge. The prices charged also do not match the prices on the menu. I understand that is this a touristy area, but it seems like the workers are out to scam tourists and take as much money as they can from them.

24/04/2024: The three cheese penne flambéd at the table was a delicious experience. My husband’s chicken enchiladas were tasty but could have been hotter (temperature level - not spice). Our server Oscar was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our meal. They don’t take credit cards but we knew that in advance. Would return.

06/04/2024: My favorite restaurant in Tulum! Great spot - food is consistently delicious - drinks are wonderful! Would recommend this spot over and over again!

31/03/2024: Came here based on YouTube recommendations, place is nice to sit, food average at best, especially the steaks are below average. Cooking good, but quality of meat is no bueno. Red Wine by the bottle was also disappointing for 1500 Pesos. Had a couple of drinks, so the waiter thought we are messed up and would not see their attempt to charge us for 2 items we did not consume, but ofc we dis. I am most disappointed as we consumed a lot, were nice to the staff and then this.

30/03/2024: Excelente lugar con mesas dentro o en terraza, comida muy buena y un servicio cordial de todo el staff, con cocina abierta a la vista y variedad de vinos, son de los lugares para regresar siempre

17/03/2024: Estupendo asador uruguayo con servicio muy amable y profesional y comida de calidad. Muy buena relación calidad precio. Queda un poco en las afueras, hay que ir en coche o taxi. Lo recomiendo

24/04/2024: La comida era muy mediocre. Pedí surf and turf y el bistec estaba muy crudo, la langosta también estaba muy seca. Cuidado con la música, ya que te pedirán que des propina si vienen a tu lado. ¡Aunque es un ambiente hermoso!

13/02/2024: My taxi driver recommended this place and he delivered! I ended up getting 2 dishes (i completely forget the names) steak filled. absolutely delicious. the salsa was very spicy but lots of sazon! i also got the piña colada and i was already feeling relaxed with just one. i’ll be coming back for sure!
