20/03/2024: Food poisoning: Way too expensive, not Iranian at all and dangerous to eat with old quality food! Me and my girlfriend went to eat in this so called Iranian restaurant. Almost nothing is Iranian in this place. The only Iranian thing is a fake Iranian carpet on the wall. The staff doesn't speak Iranian, the music isn't Iranian. The music is much too loud. It's a bit of a strange place. I still don't know what they actually want to be? A restaurant? a bar? a club? or a shisha lounge? It's a mix of everything but none of it works out well. It is always quiet and empty and I understand why. I'm half Iranian and today is the official Iranian New Year on March 20th. We told that to the staff and they looked at us and didn't understand it at all. Nothing Iranian about this place. We ordered the “Iranian” dish Koobideh kebab for both of us. It looked nice served but the kebab was a bit soft and tasted like poor quality meat. It was very expensive for Mexican prices and the quality of food served. Two Koubideh kebabs and 1 water and 1 coke. 1065 Mexican pesos. (Almost $70 USD) The food on the bill also turned out to be more expensive than the menu. For example, they round 390 pesos to 400 pesos. We even gave 1200 Mexican pesos including tip. The staff tried their best and were friendly. When we got back to our hotel, 3 hours later, I felt very bad. I felt weak and threw up everything. I had to go to the toilet several times because of diarrhea. I felt bad and I went to sleep. Not much later my girlfriend gets out of bed in the middle of the night and runs to the toilet. Same story.. It was clearly food poisoning, it must have been the meat from the kebab. We both had the same dish. Really bad restaurant, never go there again. It's empty for a reason and hopefully they can close soon!!! They should be ashamed of themselves, way too expensive and dangerous to eat!

02/03/2024: We were 4 couples looking for a restaurant that could offer us a variety of different dishes. We found Casa Persa which had an outdoor patio with great music and service. We ordered a variety of chicken beef and salads along with an oversized dish of Persian rice. Each one of us gave the Food and Service at 10 out of 10!! This will definitely be our favourite spot.
