13/03/2024: We were a group of 13 friends, we had reserved the entire restaurant for ourselves, (apparently that didn’t matter to the owner as he thought he could still handle a table of four before us!). We are all 60+, well travelled and sprinkled with excellent cooks in our group. We all arrived at 6pm (as directed by the owner to assure us of prompt service). Our food didn’t start arriving till 8 pm, many of us had been here the previous season so we knew it was going to be slow service but this was ridiculous! The food, is mediocre at best, not one Italian chef has to worry about their career! The ambiance is horrible, yes, it’s open air dining but it’s literally 20 feet from the busiest roadway in Nayarit, the level of noise is more annoying than you can imagine. There was not enough cutlery for every person, some couples shared their knives, or had to eat with a spoon. The facilities (washroom), this is a major reason most women won’t want to come back, ever! So do yourself a favor, go to a nice restaurant, with a relaxing atmosphere, comfortable washrooms (with lighting), competent serving staff and pay very little extra for a nice dining experience, you will be much happier!
