Buonissimo Cafe and Gelato, México en Bahía de Banderas

13/03/2024: We enjoyed a great breakfast in this bustling spot! The restaurant was full of local Spanish speakers (aka not tourists) when we arrived and a table quickly was cleared for us. The server seemed a bit slow to take our order, but given the busyness of the place, it was reasonable. Once the order was placed, the food came out quickly. I really enjoyed my Americano coffee in the beautiful pottery mugs which all seemed to be slightly different. The atmosphere was enjoyable in a lovely room with beautiful windows. We enjoyed the pancakes and huevos rancheros very much! We'll be back!

28/01/2024: This quaint restaurant was neat as a pin, and served up a lovely breakfast! On a very busy Saturday morning, there were very few “ touristy looking” diners, and many more locals. Unlike many other restaurants in the area, this one is all indoors, and the temperature was controlled nicely. The restrooms were also very tidy, which is a plus.! My huevos rancheros were spicier than I’m used to, but I liked that! The beans were served on the side and the tortilla at the bottom of the dish was not fried which I would’ve preferred because it would add a crunchy texture. My husband’s corn pancakes were beautiful to look at and he really enjoyed them, however felt they might’ve been also a bit too soft his taste. (We like a little crunch,!) The coffee was delicious and the coffee cups were also lovely.! we’ll definitely be back to try other offerings!
