15/01/2024: This review is for The Italian Coffee Company, located in connection with a gas station near Galerias Campeche. The map showing directions is also the one displayed here on Tripadvisor, even though the other photos and reviews on the page apparently apply to a café inside Campeche downtown?! Don't go for the address at the gas station like we did. Stay inside the city and have your coffee there. The Italian Coffee Company at the gas station is a terrible place. A dreary cafe in an ugly gas station. We were greeted by 5 employees who stared blankly at us as if we were causing them inconvenience. Already at this point, we should have realized that the visit was a mistake - but we were thirsty for coffee after walking 3 km from the city. We ordered an iced coffee, a large cappuccino, and a biscotti. 178 pesos! At that price, we expected really good coffee and welcoming service. The reality was two awful coffee cups with a crumbly dry cookie that we had to get ourselves at the counter - even though there were 5 employees who could have brought the serving the three steps down to our table!? The whole experience was so absurd - like being in a comedy - that we could only laugh at it. But still, avoid this miserable parody of a cafe.
