15/01/2024: The sun was low in the sky and I desperately wanted to witness the sunset from a vineyard with a glass of wine in my hand. After my friends and I got turned away from Encuentro (should have arrived earlier) and a quick Google search of “wineries near me” we made a phone call to Sol Fortun and were welcomed over. Little did we know that the drive there would be an adventure which took us deep into an offshoot valley and their vineyard. It was beautiful. When we arrived at the winery, we were greeted by giant oak tree, an impressive outdoor dining area, and our host for the evening, Santiago. We were already delighted, and hadn’t even sat down yet. After choosing a table with a view of the vineyard, Santiago brought over the menu board and a portable heater was set up next to us. We ordered individual glasses of Nobel Cru and Cabernet Sauvignon, both great. Originally, we weren’t going to eat, but we couldn’t resist sharing the following: Tartar Atún, Smoked/Grilled Cauliflower, and the Botana de Casa, which was a delicious hot plate of sausage and sliced baguette. Everything was fresh and delicious, and we couldn’t stop exclaiming about how good it all was. Santiago was a friendly host and on point throughout our stay. We can’t wait to return and bring more friends and family.

19/01/2024: Good food at US prices. We ate here 3 times. We were told the same master chef as Fauna. Do try the octopus and shrimp pizza. Very good. Pita sourdough like crust and great flavor. Maybe 10 to 12 inch size. Other pizza good as well guacamole plate. Every thing we had was great. Good service as well.

01/11/2023: El lugar es muy acogedor, tienes una experiencia Gourmet campirana, cercana al viñedo. La atención es genial, y el equipo esta pendiente de todos los detalles, como doblar la servilleta cada vez que alguien tiene que levantarse de la cena, de tal forma que la mesa siempre esta impecable. El menu es degustación, asi que ve abierto a probar sabores que posiblemente no hayas probado antes, incrementara tu cultura gastronomica. Si eres vegetariano o tienes alguna restricción avisalo antes de iniciar la experiencia. seguro tienene alguna opcion para ti. Soy fan de las ostras y me parecieron deli! Lo super recomiendo.

09/03/2024: Los chilaquiles rellenos simplemente excepcionales, nunca los había probado y definitivamente fueron mis favoritos, gran atención de Hugo.

29/02/2024: Tuve una extraordinaria experiencia, tanto en alimentos como en bebidas, me gustó mucho la mixología, y sobre todo el servicio de Marco Alva.

29/01/2024: Fui con mi familia y el lugar se presta a eso, probé la pizza de trufa y camarón robata muy buenos lo recomiendo, igual los camarones roca, de bebidas probé aperol spritz sabía en su punto si regreso

16/11/2023: Es el lugar indicado para hablar de negocios mientras disfrutas de buena comida y el servicio ni se diga, yo pedí el Flat steak y estaba muy bien servido, los meseros son muy amables elijo este lugar para seguir viendo a mis clientes

16/11/2023: Estan en Vinedos de la Reina. Formidable comida, chef creativo. Son nueva opcion en el Valle de Guadalupe. Muy agradable sorpresa. Excelente atencion y servicio. Nuevo menu, todo muy bueno. Recomendaron platillos para compartir y todo OK. Precios justos.

30/10/2023: This is an excellent restaurant in lovely setting in the Vineidas De La Reina vineyard about 40 minutes drive from Ensenada. The food was sensational as was the service. I would highly recommended coming here if in the area.
