01/11/2023: Un local bueno, donde se sirven buenos bocatas de jamón. A parte de otros alimentos de calidad y buen café. La terraza es muy tranquila lo que es de agradecer. El dueño está siempre realizando labores tanto para los clientes como para que el local esté en buenas condiciones. La localización está un poco lejos, pero con el tranvía te deja a 2 min caminando. Llevo un par de años llenado ahí y nunca me ha faltado nada, cómo en casa.

26/07/2023: Nestled by the pool, Pier 8 is a great choice for lunches while you’re hanging out at the pool. Great variety of food for lunch, nighttime means a seafood menu. The hostess, Fernanda was always smiling, welcoming us, even had a table set for us once she realized we were doing all lunches there, prior to our arrival for lunch. Chef Jose Rocha was so attentive to my food allergies and made me feel special. Areli and Juan! Wow, what a great team. Areli knew what we wanted before asking, attentive to all details (our beverages were constantly full). Juan brought water to our table as we were checking in with Fernanda.The manager, Licardi also took such good care of us. The staff actually wrote us a beautiful letter thanking us for choosing Pier 8 each day. What strikes me as impressive is not only the food and choices, but the kindness of everyone here. When they knew it was our last day, they decorated our table for us and prepared a special meal based on our likes throughout our ten day stay.

22/07/2023: Staying at the Moon Palace Grand with family and visited the Sunrise side. Saw there was live spiny lobsters in tanks and thought we gotta have one. This is the Sunrise poolside Pier 8. They used to allow resort credit redemptions on upgraded food items but not anymore but understandable due to the economy and how all businesses are on their post pandemic recovery mode at this time. Now it’s time for the lobster, $14.99/kg. You pick your lobster and they cook it the way you want it. The staff is super friendly, helpful and accommodating, can’t ask for any better. The staff, including chef came out to present the finished product. We enjoyed the lobster, it was cooked just as we requested. So fresh and delicious. We would definitely do it again on our next visit. The staff, Manuel Pech, Berenice Sosa, waiter Manuel, Ricardi, Jorge Cortes, Manuel Licatdi and chef Victor. Thank you all for an excellent lunch, so memorable.

10/03/2024: Pésimo Lleve a mi hijo al área de niños la cual está sumamente saturada y sucia. Los juguetes, Tapetes y juegos sucios y viejos, parecen de segundo uso. La "niñera" no hace por cuidar a los niños. Mi hijo se super enfermó del estómago a las dos horas de salir de ahí, la comida mala y echada a perder. No pienso volver. El precio caro, no vale lo que cuesta.

11/02/2024: Absolutely fantastic 👍, popped in on the off chance, most of the nearby hotels are all inclusive so if you go out for a walk it is very hard to eat, drink or use bathroom 😡 it’s upstairs so easily missed, but overlooking a marina, well worth a visit if you are staying nearby.

09/02/2024: El restaurante ofrecía una gran variedad de platos. El servicio lo mejor, muchas gracias Ricardo. Muy educado, atento y con buena disposición.

12/08/2023: Un lugar donde se puede disfrutar de gran variedad de platillos basados en productos del mar. Servidos como bufet a la mesa y en porciones adecuadas para degustar de todo, sin desperdiciar nada. Tuvimos la suerte de ser guiados por Dulce, una anfitriona sonriente y totalmente dedicada al disfrute de sus invitados. Probamos aguachile, cocktail de ostiones, ostiones frescos en su concha, tostadas de atún y de camarón, minitacos gobernador de pulpo o de camarón, pescadillas de cazón. Todo realmente delicioso. Además el precio del bufet se cubre por mucho con la variedad de platillos, su calidad y sabor. Es un verdadero placer comer en Si, como no.

13/03/2024: El lugar tiene muy buen ambiente con DJ en vivo para degustar drinks y botanear delicioso tostadas de mariscos y tacos de mariscos, lo único es que el guiso de pulpo al ajillo que debe ser caliente, llegó frío por eso no le doy las cinco estrellas, también recomiendo pavimentar pronto su entrada y hacer un mejor estacionamiento.
