20/04/2024: ¡Este sitio es absolutamente increíble! Esta es nuestra segunda vez aquí. Farfán y Espinoza fueron nuestros camareros y son los mejores. ¡Excelente comida! ¡Buena atmósfera! Y un servicio aún mejor. Son muy eficientes y rápidos. ¡Predicen tus necesidades antes de que puedas necesitarlas!

07/04/2024: The other reviews aren't wrong - such a wonderful restaurant! The food was out of this world. The service too. I had the catch of the day - Mahi Mahi with a peanut and chilli crust. It was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. The restaurant-made mini bread rolls were also delicious - and still warm from the oven. It was my last night on the island and I wanted to find one of the best, if not the best, fish restaurants on the island - Fuego de Mar did not disappoint! Elliott, my server, was so welcoming, friendly and attentive - and although I like to practice my Spanish, his English was almost better than mine!

19/03/2024: This was by far my most disappointing meal of my 10 day trip to Cozumel. The waitstaff were very kind and attentive, but the food was surprisingly bad. I ordered the fish panuchos, which were overly sweet and over-garnished with muddled flavors. Then, the achiote shrimp with coconut rice. The "coconut" rice was full of parmasean cheese, which tasted terrible with the pineapple salsa and completely masked any hint of coconut. When I first tried it, I told the waiter that it was too cheesy and I didn't like it because it didn't taste at all like coconut rice, but no remediation was offered. The actual shrimp were so heavily seasoned with black pepper that I couldn't taste the achiote, and they were cooked inconsistently with some being overcooked and some being slightly raw in the center. I ate them anyways because I figured I was being charged for the dish. To top it off, I was overcharged by 200p at the bar. I caught the mistake and they refunded me the excess charges, but that still shouldn't happen at a restaurant with this reputation. Overall, it was a just a bad expensive meal.

14/03/2024: We've heard about Buccanos at Night for a number of years now and finally made it for dinner and it did not disappoint! The service was great and all the food was amazing.

15/04/2024: Fui a este lugar porque me lo recomendaron, comi camarones y otros platillos, buen sazón y buena relación precio calidad, no me tocó mucha gente pero fui entre semana en hora más tarde de la comida, lo único que no me encantó es que tienen el baño pegado a la cocina fuera de eso. Pocos lugares en la zona tienen mariscos de buena calidad. Si estas en la zona pasa a comer a este lugar. Todos son muy amables y están atentos a las mesas.

03/04/2024: We love this place. The food and ambiance are excellent. Not “cheap” by Mexican standards, but very reasonably priced for the food/service by American standards. We spent less than $100 US for a drink each, shared appetizer, 2 entrees, shared dessert, and espressos, We ate here this trip (Mar2024) as well as a previous trip. We’ll definitely go back for future trips, for a nice night out. Highly recommended!

29/03/2024: Buen servicio y ambiente. La comida también era buena, aunque no necesariamente excepcional, pero le doy una reseña de 3 estrellas debido a la porción ridículamente pequeña. Pedí el risotto, así que aquí no estamos hablando de langosta en cuanto al costo de los ingredientes: solo arroz, champiñones y guisantes. Cuatro, tal vez cinco cucharadas y eso fue todo. Lo terminé en 3 minutos más o menos. El precio estaba completamente fuera de lugar en comparación con la cantidad de comida que obtienes. Refinado - para Holbox si. Vale la pena el precio, en absoluto. Salí con hambre y compré una barra de chocolate en el camino de regreso a mi hotel.

09/03/2024: ¡Excelente descubrimiento gastronómico! Probamos 3 entrantes diferentes y ¡fue una explosión de sabores! Todo acompañado de una excelente botella de Chenin mexicano. Servicio atento y agradable. Absolutamente vale la pena probarlo
