09/02/2024: Hasta pena medio cuando llegaron mis empanadas de camarón, negras se veían pero no porque fuera masa negra, si no porque las frieron con aceite quemado 🤢 en serio horror de comida, a nuestra experiencia para no volver jamás. Caro y feo, cero recomendable, si pudiera poner -3 estrellas estaría genial

22/04/2024: We went to El Pata the other day and were denied service because we weren’t local. I guess this restaurant is just for the locals. So don’t waste your time trying to support them if you aren’t Mexican. Thats the first time we have ever been denied service in Huatulco. Go to The Drunken Shrimp instead. Prices are great as well as the food and unlike El Pata, they welcome Canadians.

25/03/2024: Our lunch at this restaurant turned into a deeply regrettable experience, earning a one-star review due to deceptive pricing practices and disappointing food quality. The allure of seemingly reasonable seafood prices quickly evaporated under the heat of unexpected and unjustified charges. The menu, exclusively in Spanish, featured mojarra (tilapia) and hiachinango (red snapper) at $190 Mex ($13 US) each. We carefully confirmed with the server, who consulted the manager, our choice of red snapper for our meals. Unfortunately, the garlic red snapper and red snapper Veracruz we received were dry and bony, hardly meeting our expectations for even a moderately priced dish. The real shock came with the bill. Not only were the prices of our dishes unexpectedly doubled to $26 each, but an additional fish dish was inexplicably tacked onto our bill without reason. This dramatic price increase, purportedly due to the note on the menu "según tamaño" (according to size), was neither clearly explained nor justified at the time of ordering. After we contested the bill, particularly the charge for the third, unordered fish dish, the restaurant removed that specific charge. Yet, the inflated price for the two dishes we did consume was not corrected. Ending up with an $80 bill for a lunch for two in Mexico, at an establishment of average quality, is not just shocking—it's absurd. This lunchtime ordeal serves as a cautionary tale about hidden costs and the importance of demanding full clarity on pricing before ordering. The stark lack of transparency and communication from the restaurant staff about such significant price adjustments made us feel not only exploited but also deeply disappointed. Patrons should be wary of establishments where the price of a meal can so dramatically exceed reasonable expectations for the setting and quality provided.

21/07/2024: Excelente lugar, tranquilo y con gente Super capaz en la barra Perfecto para unos cócteles y algunos aperitivos para platicar, definitivamente volveré y con algunos acompañantes

13/07/2024: El lugar es muy bonito, está muy bien diseñado. La atención es excelente. La comida es pretenciosa, no muy buena, tampoco mala. No regresaríamos a comer pero la experiencia una vez es linda.

07/02/2024: If it wasn't so far away from Puerto Vallarta, we'd have eaten several meals here. It's a 1hr+ uber ride from town and absolutely worth it. You can hang out at the much quieter Playa La Lancha (across the street through a path in the jungle) after your meal. The restaurant is attached to a surf shop as well in case you want to make this a post-surfing meal. The food is incredibly high quality and creative. The salsa macha that arrives before the meal was the best I've had. I wish I could've bottled it up and taken some home. The tostadas were top notch. I would've skipped the sashimi as there wasn't a lot going on there. If you're in Puerto Vallarta, it's easy to take an Uber back. They have wifi for you to summon your ride.

28/01/2024: Oh my. Maybe it was just an off day. Three of four were disappointed in the food. Service is always super friendly and fast. The fish was smaller than ever. Fries tasted stale. Not cold but they just had been hanging around too long. One person ordered agua chile and said it was fantastic. Inventive drinks are always wonderful. Cardamom ice crean with banana bread dessert will blow your mind. BUT 3 of the 4 of us said ... they won't go back again. Such a pity because it had been a favorite restaurant for years.

29/07/2024: Hace tiempo visité este lugar y quedo a deber, hoy regresé y la verdad me gustó. Los alimentos fueron muy ricos en sabor, bastos y la atención personalizada, sobre todo de la srita Nidia. En particular la tostada de Atún Crujiente estaba muy buena al igual que los camarones al coco. Y la vista y brida al mar, nos encantó. Espero que siga mejorando, por esta ocasión, consideramos que sí regresariamos.

11/06/2024: Está rico, el servicio es muy bueno, el lugar con vista a la playa muy bien. Un poco caro pero valió la pena. La panetela de coco muy rica

16/07/2023: Comimos cuatro adultos en familia en el Suez, en domingo. Probamos tostadas de ceviche, tostadas de camarón, tacos de jaiba gratinados, tacos de camarón, arroz con camarones, jaibas rellenas, flan con cajeta, cafés, y tequilas y vampiros. Todo estuvo muy sabroso, presentación tradicional sencilla, bien servido. Los precios muy razonables. El servicio de reservación y la atención en la mesa fueron excelentes. El restaurante lleno de comensales como prueba de su arraigo, calidad y precios justos. Volveremos pronto al Suez.

17/02/2024: Il proprietario è stato molto gentile ad accoglierci anche se aveva un gruppo enorme a cena. Ci ha serviti velocemente e le porzioni erano molto grandi, specialmente le fajitas. Prezzi giusti tutto sommato, più bassi di altri posti della zona.
