Estábamos un poco escépticos al entrar a las 12:10 pm y el lugar estaba completamente vacío y las luces aún no estaban todas encendidas. Estaban recién abriendo y fuimos los primeros en llegar. El personal es extremadamente atento y absolutamente amable con las sonrisas más hermosas. El ambiente del lugar parecía auténtico y no exagerado, lo que lo hizo aún más cómodo para nosotros. El pollo con mantequilla fue uno de los mejores que he probado, el pollo estaba increíblemente tierno y obtuve un nivel de especias del 20% porque soy un pito. Mi hija obtuvo un nivel medio de especias en sus gambas Tikka Masala, que eran absolutamente perfectas para ella. Las Samosas Nf el naan con ajo salieron calientes y fueron el complemento perfecto para el resto de la comida.
Entramos y salimos en aproximadamente una hora, sin esperas largas y con un excelente servicio. ¡Absolutamente recomiendo este lugar!

30/12/2023: This is THE spot for amazing Indian food in Playa. Both my husband and I thought this was the best Aloo Gobi we have ever had! The chicken Tikka masala was beyond incredible. The service was outstanding and everyone was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. The owner was kind enough to come to the table and help me understand what I could eat as I am gluten free. I was able to have most of the menu. I will recommend to any and all without hesitation! The cost was around 600 Mexican Pesos per person before tip for two entrees, appetizer and two glasses of wine and sparkling water.

The food is delicious.
The service is top notch.
Very amazing specials, which are off the menu which anyone reading this must try.
Do make a reservation because we tried to go twice without a reservation and the restaurant was full.

16/03/2024: Este lugar cocina muy buenos platos indios. Elegimos pollo con mantequilla como combinación con arroz basmati y pollo tika, también como combinación de arroz y naan. Por otro lado, lo llevamos a domicilio porque el viernes por la noche no había nadie en el restaurante y el ambiente era poco atractivo para comer allí. La camarera fue muy amable.
08/03/2024: Aryan es un acogedor restaurante en Playa con un ambiente y ambiente relajados. El personal es super amable y la comida es deliciosa, auténtica y a un precio razonable. Siempre busco un buen restaurante indio cuando viajo y Arya ha cumplido y superado todas las expectativas. Visitaré este restaurante con frecuencia mientras esté aquí en Playa.

13/04/2024: I used to love this place. I would eat here once a week sometimes twice because the food and customer service was amazing. Unfortunately, they have recently made some changes and the prices have gone up significantly but the food portions are not as large. Last time I ate here I was very disappointed in how much food was in my togo containers and the price was nearly doubled. I am a very small persona and was still hungry after.
28/03/2024: Absolutely one of my favorite places in Playa! I travel the world for a living and Indian food is one of my favorites. I have had numerous dishes here and all were exceptional. Even their papadams were perfect! Diego, my server, was helpful and friendly and a true delight to speak with. Highly recommended.

06/04/2024: Llamé al lugar 2 horas antes del cierre, nadie contestó el teléfono y luego nos dijeron que no podían acomodarnos.
05/04/2024: Me apetecía la comida india, así que pasé por un bocado rápido. La comida es buena, aunque las porciones son pequeñas para el precio que pagas.
Recomiendo comprar su naan con ajo, estaba delicioso.

19/02/2024: It was our last day and we had to be up early the next morning. I wish I would have stopped here earlier in the week before our trip was over because this place definitely has the best cocktails. A hidden gem in Tulum Mexico. Must visit if you’re visiting. Five stars would recommend.
09/02/2024: Richtig gutes indisches Essen zum fairen Preis. Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Abend hier. Chilliges Ambiente in einem wunderschönen Garten. Gute Abwechslung zum Mexican Food und überteuerten Fusion Food.

05/01/2024: Waited 5 days for reservation to.. So over hyped. Horrible service. Food is so so ordinary. They think their reservation gets full every single day coz people around the world love Indian food & they can get away with poor services & ordinary taste. But people are not fool plus half the items in menu are not available.

Indian food taste - 3/10. Taste is really bad. You can go to any local indian restaurant in your vicinity and food would taste better than this.
Service: 3/10 There's a 3 day waiting period to get a reservation only to find that the staff is rude and rushing everything and food tastes bad. We tried 12-15 different dishes and only 2 of them were average. Rest were crap

20/07/2023: This place was so great! Good indian food for mexico. I ordered the Korma. They were out of chicken when we went, but I got shrimp instead and it was perfect. It comes with all these unique sides on the plate (see the photo) and it was nice because you didnt get tired of the same flavor. English was spoken in the restaurant, so no worries there. Prices were average for Tulum. We spent about 1100 mx pesos for two meals and an appetizer without tip.

29/07/2023: El primer intento fue fallido porque tenían un tiempo de espera de más de una hora. Al día siguiente lo logramos con ayuda de Servicio al Huésped. La comida muy buena, porciones que parecen pequeñas pero son justas para no saturar el paladar y puedes pedir más, si lo deseas. El servicio muy amable y atento, nuestro mesero fue muy servicial.
25/07/2023: We had great experience at Sutra Restaurant with family and friends and tasted different dishes made under Chef Ajay Bhatt's supervision. Excellent food in fact we all were pleasantly surprised the way each dish we tried had real authentic flavors of all spices used. Great work Chef Ajay. Keep it up the good work & hope to visit you on our next visit to Cancun.
