12/03/2024: This white tablecloth fine dining restaurant is located inside the wonderful Hyatt Ziva Resort in Cancun. The service and quality are superior and the selection is lovely. The portion will be considered a bit small when first presented but you are likely to discover they are just right when you have an appetizer, a soup (do have one of the spectacular soups) the main course and a desert - all washed down with a few glasses of vino (I recommend the sparkling wine) All included in your resort fee. You can pay more for some higher quality wines but the house wines and cocktails are all just fine and dandy. The food is always delightful and the selection should satisfy most everyone. Special thanks to our amazing waiter and food guide Rodolfo. Highly recommended.

07/02/2024: My husband and I came to Hyatt Ziva Cancun for our 43rd Anniversary. We are foodies and both cook at elevated expectations. So we were very pleasantly surprised by the food and the service at La Bastille at Hyatt Ziva Cancun. All courses were excellent, and when we told our server, Amayrani that it was our 43rd wedding anniversary, she went out of her way to make it extremely memorable. She orchestrated a complicated coffee flambe that was delicious, and the staff made extra memorable desserts to our regular choices. We are not easy to impress, but this restaurant, without prior notice, made our anniversary, extremely special. Thank you again, Amayrani and staff!

10/01/2024: In our last stay at the resort, I went 3 times to the bresserie. The food is tasty and interesting. The service is very poor, unless you have enough luck to be served by mr. Victor. I even got up to the bar to get my drinks, many times. The ambient noise is extremely loud, very uncomfortable (that happens in every restaurant and buffet at the resort), and when you almost get used to it, someone starts playing the piano and you start wishing to finish your meal and going outside.

26/08/2023: J'ai trouvé ma place de dessert à Playa del Carmen! 💯👌 j'ai essayé plusieurs trucs, le gâteau fromage pistaches, mousse aux framboises vegan et les alfajores! Tout était délicieux. C'est un vraie belle trouvaille que j'ai fait! Le service que j'ai reçu était super. La dame m'a laissé pratiquer mon espagnol, très patiente avec moi. La décor de la boutique est joli, chic. C'est certain que j'y retourne car c'est un coup de coeur.
