19/08/2023: It’s good for ones or twice, Brenda and comers were nice. The desert r probably the best things u can get over there. Would not go there every night

13/08/2023: Tania, was our waitress and she was wonderful. When speaking with us, she learned of some exciting milestones we were celebrating (preceded by many tough months). Before she brought the check, she surprised us with a delicious dessert that had a very heartfelt message with it.

18/09/2023: From the moment we walked in, Saffron was a delight to all our senses! The ritual washing of the hands with rose water was unique. The sound of roosting birds among the low hanging trees along side the calm emerald lagoon was so exotic! Dining above the water at a candle lit table with softly glowing lanterns overhead just added to the ambiance! Drinks were thoughtfully crafted and our appetizers were deliciously presented! Our wok seared steak and vegetable fried rice was amazing! Saffron will be our first stop upon a return visit! We can’t wait!

28/07/2023: Breath-taking setting and arrival process. From booking to dining, the team was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The evening at Saffron was definitely a highlight of our trip to Mayakoba.

29/01/2024: Nos súper encantó el lugar! El servicio fue magnífico! Los platillos de lo más rico!!!!!! Nos súper encantó la atención que nos dió Gabriela, súper linda! Atenta! Nos sentimos consentidos por ella y el ambiente tan lindo que se hace en el restaurante!!!!!

24/12/2023: We went on Christmas Eve, which means it is going to be busy and service is not going to be optimal, but they were short staffed, and the entres came out in reverse order. that said, it was not a big deal. The sushi was good, not great, but the pad Thai was pretty awful. just some vegetables and some sauce, with nuts on top. If I gave it to you in a blind taste test, you could not tell me what it was. I would not recommend,

18/01/2024: Tuvimos una pésima experiencia con un miembro del personal del restaurante, su nombre es Didier, esta persona nos faltó al respeto cuestionando si en nuestras casas no teníamos orden, sus respuestas fueron muy groseras, sarcásticas y burlonas. Solicitábamos un lugar más en la mesa y su actitud fue sumamente grosera, le dijimos que no nos íbamos a quedar y su respuesta fue: Adiós burlándose y riéndose de nosotras. Qué pena que nuestra experiencia en este hotel se vea ensombrecida por la actitud de Didier. Pésimo

25/03/2024: Since we never could get into the steakhouse we ended up here for dinner several times. We have done the Teppanyaki before so opted for regular dinner service where you can get the same dishes but without the theater. The Salmon was excellent as was the Teppanyaki Shrimp and Teppanyaki Chicken with great Fried Rice. The fried ice cream was very good. Service by Daniel one night and Felipe another was perfect. They both were able to explain dishes and make excellent recommendations. In addition this was our most frequented breakfast spot. Marie's custom omelets were the best. The juices are fresh and the coffee is great.

21/04/2024: La Vista is a delicious restaurant at the Wyndham. My husband loves the meats that they come around with. I love the sides that are on the buffet. The bread and steak are our favorites. The service is always good. I was disappointed that they weren’t offering the Mayan coffee this time. However, Edwin from La Paloma (that restaurant isn’t listed on TripAdvisor) made us Mayan coffee. Edwin is amazing and is one of the best servers on the property. He goes above and beyond for his guests always.

19/03/2024: We stayed at the Wyndham for a week and my group came to La Vista several times. The food was excellent and reminds me a lot of a very fancy restaurant back home called Texas de Brazil! They bring several different meats to your table and cut it for you so that you are able to try all of the options they have at the restaurant. During our first dining experience our server Valencia took time out of his busy night to make conversation with us and check in several times! During our second experience our server Juan was so great and when I told him about dietary restrictions he ensured that the people serving the meat did not give me anything that I could not have! Additionally, Juan and Valencia both had such contagious smiles and made our dining experience here so enjoyable. David who brought the meat around to our table was very helpful as well he was so nice to our party and he explained what each meat was so that we could decide exactly what we wanted! All three of these staff members were exceptional and made us want to keep coming back to La Vista and Wyndham Grand for future vacations!!
