20/03/2024: Wanda's is a solid choice if you're craving a burger and fries similar to what you'd expect back in Canada or the US. They have vinegar for the fries, which really appeals to me - it's not a typical condiment in Mexico. The portions aren't huge, but just right, and they'll ask how you'd like your burger cooked, which is a unique experience if you're Canadian, as we don't have that option in restaurants at home. We ordered ours "Medium" and they were cooked through but not overcooked at all. Wanda's is a little famous for their apple pie, again something we Canadians get a craving for and which is not typically served in Mexico. Theirs is good, and the serving size decent. We had it with ice-cream, and it came heated. It was VERY hot, actually - like we had to wait/blow on it to cool the initial bites down, wanting to eat it before the ice cream all melted. I would definitely order it again, but would ask that they not heat the pie, but that's just a preference thing. You really can't go wrong with Wanda's. They've expanded their menu and have several cuts of steaks along with ribs, etc., which we'd probably try in the future.
