Lugar bonito, comida deliciosa, el ambiente relajado, el mesero muy amable y ordenado, quizás lo único es que les falta más espacio y las bebidas son altas en precio. Pero lo recomiendo por todo lo demás.

I have eaten at literally 25,000 restaurants in almost 6 decades, in 26 different countries. My family owned two 4-star restaurants for years, which I helped to run. I know food. I am a chef.
This restaurant is constructed of "Sillar block" and pine wood, exactly the same as my house... it was like eating at home!
The steaks were fairly tasty, lightly seasoned. I had arrechera and a T-Bone steak. The T-Bone was overly done, not tender.
My wife had arrechera, which was ok. They failed to bring one of her meat selections to her. But her chicken milanesa was fantastic, she said.
The shrimp bullion soup was exceptional.
There were four slightly different salad choices, almost exactly the same salad, except for a very few swapped select ingredient items. I was very happy, being a Sicilian Italian, to see green olives and black olives being used!
The freshly made juice (naranjada) was VERY good.
*THE ABSOLUTE BEST THING THEY HAVE TO OFFER IS THE BBQ BEEF RIBS.* That alone rates as 5 stars on the scale. Wow, was I impressed with their ribs. The ribs here are MUCH better than Asado Campo and equal to Smoked And Low, both in San Miguel de Allende.
The potato puree is perfect.
The sliced, boiled chayote is good, but being a grill house, I'd love to see them serve grilled chayote slices with tajin or chili pepper.
A grill house must offer more grilled items. Grilled pineapple...
The pre-boxed cake selection is not so good, so don't waste your time. Focus on the delicious rice pudding and fruit.
Our server came only to take empty plates and slip away without asking what we need. When he arrived with one platter of beef, he said, "3/4's." Then slipped away. I ordered 3/4's completion arrechera, and my wife ordered 100% completion arrechera. We waited and waited and waited, almost 30 minutes for my wife's "Well done" arrechera to appear, but it never came.
So we motioned for the condescending woman who greeted us when we arrived and asked her, "Is my wife's arrechera coming?"
Without asking anyone, she said, "Hers is well done,so it will take longer." What? No, not 20 or 30 minutes longer. I think they gave my wife's plate to someone else.
So she went to ask, nd returned to say, "Both different levels of arrechera were on the same fajita plate."
We told her once again that our server told us it was 3/4's ONLY, on that plate, which was the reason why we are asking for my wife's beef.
With that, she walked away without a word. Nothing was said about whether my wife would receive her beef or if she would have to order beef once again.
She was also staring at us and other customers all the way through my meal, and she made a "nausea sick" face when I stirred in squeezed lemon into my drinking water, using my fork to stir. Don't make ugly faces at your clients.
Our server actually became more interested in my table toward the end. I gave him an $80 tip, which is fair. It was not his fault that my wife's beef never came to the table. It was a mistake in the kitchen, a mistake that was covered up, twice, with misinformation. The best thing to do is go make the order right. The worst thing to do is make excuses.
We drove from a different city to give them a try. We drove a long way, to enjoy a special occasion dinner. It was fair, not excellent. Not quite worth the money for the condescending attitude of certain upper level staff. (The owner, however, was exceedingly kind.)
We might eat here once or twice per year. Nothing more.
Food: 4.5 stars.
BBQ ribs: 5 stars
General service: 4.0 stars
Attentiveness: 3.0 stars
Cleanliness: 4.5 stars
Food buffet display: 4.7 stars
Timeliness: 3.7 stars
Price: $625, with lowest level buffet and cheap drinks.
I would like to recommend to them to be very clear at the beginning about the two different levels of buffet. Remember, we're not here for you; you are here for us. If I'm poor or if I am rich... it's not important. I come into your restaurant for good service and good food. I want both things. I'm paying for both things.
Work on that. Clear up your communication problems.
