My family is staying at Monte Cristo and ate here 2 nights ago. My fish was not cooked all of the way, sauce was bland, and rice was crunchy. My salad had strawberries in it and tasted great; HOWEVER, had a long toothpic in the middle of it. I'm surprised I noticed it because the pick had green on the end of it. The manager came over and apologized, which was very nice but goodness. My son ordered the Surf & Turf $150 usd and ordered his filet Med Rare and it came with a lobster. He loved the lobster but the bacon wrapped around the steak wasn't even cooked all of the way and the steak was barely cooked along the edges. The inside was so PURPLE, I swear it was still mooing. Really, no blood, just purple. We told the waiter, who was super nice, and he took the steak back to have it cooked some more. When we got it back from the kitchen, it was still raw inside. And not just a little area, like a 2" x 2" raw area. My son was so excited to get this dish, and for the steak to be a flop was so unfortunate. The prices were high to begin with, but then for the food to be so bad... just STAY AWAY!
