It was 4 of us and already when entering the premises we could see and feel the warm smiles from the staff and the dedication they put in their profession. The Maitre D’ Emilo replied immediately to my Japanese and carried on with a lovely sentence from La Divina Commedia by Dante, when he understood we were Italians, what a start.
Axel and Emiliano took care of us and pampered our experience trough the evening.
After explaining the concept, modern Japanese cusine and entertainment, we started with a Amaterasu cocktail, simply delicious fresh and intriguing. We tried to get an idea of the concept by following Axel suggestions and adding few of our favourite proteins. We ordered the following:
Gyozas, taquito de pato, short rib, sashimi ronqueo ( four different kind of tuna blue fin), red dragon rolls, lotus rolls, ryoshi rolls, grilled tiger prawn, nigiri of eel, fat tuna and hamachi. Every single dish was prepared with accuracy and diligence and brought to the table with a full detailed explanation and matching sauce. It was fireworks of joy for our palates. Balance, harmony and style together with use of fresh and premium ingredients made our dinner a memorable one. The service was top notch from the suggestions to the pouring of water or refreshing our glasses, all done with exceptional timing and discretion. To finish our dinner we followed Emiliano suggestion and went for the platano pay , delicious. The amusement carried on when the acrobatic show started at 2030 simply delightful. Emilio was passing by between a dish and another making sure that we enjoyed every single moment. Emilio kudos to all your team for the excellent work .
