This is a great hidden gem for on the way to/from Chichen Itza. The waiters are attentive and do speak English as best as they can. The food is very authentic and delicious; the tortillas are made by hand and are FRESH! (They were actually hot when they were served to us). They don’t have “menus” but have a big sign when you come in. Make sure to pay in pesos here (I’m unsure if they have a card machine or accept USD). Our meal with unlimited tortillas, two platters of meat (chicken and pibil), Jamaica juice and a beer was about $400 pesos ($25 USD). We felt safe and well taken care of by our waiter; it truly felt like someones home ☺️Highly recommend this place!
