La Cappella, México en Puerto Vallarta

Lugar absolutamente magnífico para la boda de nuestra sobrina, cena para más de 100 personas. El servicio fue perfecto, la comida se veía increíble y estaba buenísima. Una comida completa de 4 platos. La Cappella tiene una hermosa vista del océano. La arquitectura de madera tallada y la pintura en el techo eran asombrosas. Esto es imprescindible al visitar Puerto Vallarta.

Una ubicación fantástica, con vista a Puerto Vallarta y la iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe con una vista increíble. El salón es ventilado y muy espacioso, por lo que resulta confortable. Servicio muy rápido y comida estupenda.

No te pierdas la cena al atardecer. ¡ASOMBROSO!

Dios mío, el ambiente es el mejor, ojalá pudiera darle 6 estrellas. Vistas impresionantes y violinistas talentosos. Recomiendo encarecidamente el pescado/marisco sobre el bistec.

Anoche disfrutamos muchísimo de nuestra cena en La Cappella. Nuestro camarero Jared hizo recomendaciones sólidas y la comida fue fantástica. Comenzamos con mejillones y burrata, comimos piccata de pollo y linguini de camarones como platos principales y terminamos con el pastel de lava de chocolate. Cada plato estuvo delicioso e incluso me prepararon un cóctel sin alcohol especial a pedido. Teníamos una reserva a las 6 pm, llegamos 15 minutos antes y pudimos elegir la mesa. La puesta de sol, las vistas y la música en vivo realmente agregaron tanta belleza al ambiente y el servicio fue atento sin ser agobiante. ¡¡Altamente recomendado!!

El restaurante es hermoso. La vista, la decoración, la comida y el servicio son excelentes. Ve, no te decepcionarás.

Gran lugar para comer y la mejor vista del atardecer. Pedimos lichi Martínez, vino, pikada de pollo, pastel fundido y cannoli de postre. Excelentes postres y bebidas. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente venir aquí para disfrutar del atardecer y de la deliciosa comida! También tocaron el violín esa noche. ¡Hermoso!

Mi visita de regreso a La Capella para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi pareja fue mixta. Si bien el servicio fue excepcional y el lugar impresionante, la comida no cumplió con las expectativas establecidas en mi visita anterior hace dos años. Comenzando con los cócteles, los martinis de guayaba, lichi, messicano y espresso fueron agradables, aunque el martini de guayaba era demasiado dulce para mi gusto, pero aun así bueno y refrescante. Los aperitivos, incluida la burrata que era fresca pero carecía de innovación, los mejillones se salvaron con la salsa que, en mi opinión, es una de las mejores que he probado, mientras que el tartar de atún adolecía de una [salsa de soja oscura] poco atractiva. Los platos principales variaron. El penne vegetariano carecía de cohesión hasta que descubrí el propósito de la galleta de queso. Otros platos como el fletán asado y los fettuccini Alfredo eran agradables pero algo salados. Lo más destacado vino con un pastel de cumpleaños sorpresa y un servicio atento por parte de Luis y Jonathan. Sin embargo, los elevados precios en comparación con la calidad de la comida me dejaron decepcionado. A pesar del ambiente y las vistas, la experiencia general no coincidió con mi primera visita. Además, el proceso de reserva fue frustrante, con disponibilidad limitada por teléfono pero no tanto en OpenTable, y trato preferencial basado en el idioma; Inglés = Cordial y atento, Español = Grosero y desdeñoso, o al menos esa fue mi experiencia al llamar al restaurante un par de veces intentando hacer la reserva. Si bien LaCapella ofrece vistas impresionantes, la disposición de los asientos puede afectar la experiencia. A los grupos de dos les va mejor con asientos en el balcón, mientras que los grupos más grandes pueden encontrarse con vistas restringidas. En general, el encanto de La Capella reside en su ambiente y servicio, pero se necesitan mejoras en la creatividad del menú y los precios para igualar su elevada reputación.

First. I have been to this restaurant several times over the past 10 years. The beautiful parts of the experience are the view of the churches, the sunset and the beautiful serenades from the violinist Edgar. We have been so many times many of the wait staff recognize us and Edgar and his fellow violinists even stop to say hello. And he even plays the songs he remember we requested years ago. The food is very good. That first experience was amazing. But for some reason that experience at least for me has slowly deteriorated over the years. Maybe it’s me but every time since that first experience we have been seated in the worst seating in the restaurant. Twice we were seated in the far corner against the wall to the left of the door where the waiters come in and out. Then last year on my birthday. We were seated at the table next to the bathroom. This year on my birthday they put us in a very hot corner right next to the waiters station. It was so hot we were sweating. And there was so much activity right behind me with waiters I felt like I was in their way. When even arrived early hoping that would help. There were several other amazing tables next to the railing over looking the ocean and the churches but the hostess still gave us one of the worst tables in the restaurant. Our view was obstructed by a metal fence and plants There were too other couples that arrived after us and were given seating that was amazing. I told the waiter before the other tables were seated the problem with it being so hot. He said it was because we were next to a hot wall. But didn’t offer to see if we could be re seated. Then when we told the hostess as she was seating another table she said our only option would be to go to the bar. Wow! a long time repeat loyal customer who has recommended time and time again to people all over the world about your restaurant, and has been there so many times the waiters and the violinist came to say hello but we were treated by the hostess not like someone who hasn’t spent 100’s or thousands of dollars at your restaurant. And treated your staff with the utmost respect. But we were treated like well someone who will probably never come back so it’s okay to seat them in awful tables. I’ve never thought it was because I am African American before but after the third time of being seated at very bad tables and the way the hostess showed very little concern and gave us the only choice of sitting in the bar or going somewhere else. Well not only did it hurt but it did make me wonder what why! But I’m sure the loss of our business and loyalty won’t make a difference to La Capella. Maybe it could be chalked up to just bad luck. But three times in a row just leaves me to think it’s not a coincidence! Mr Hester and I will stick to the wonderful food at Hacienda, cafe Des artist and iguana and rethink La Capella as one of favorite places to chose to dine!

Great ambience, wonderful hospitality& service by Jared. & delicious food. It’s a great place for celebrating special occasions & it has live music as well.
