El Monarco, México en San Miguel de Allende

El Monarco restaurant became my favorite go to in San Miguel. Covered inside and out with murals of monarch butterflies, the food is excellent and modestly priced. The owner and staff are very welcoming and warm and the service is excellent. Open Tuesday-Saturday, they have live music every night. The room is intimate making it easy to meet other diners. I highly recommend this place.
