El Mediterráneo en Zihuatanejo de Azueta

We have been looking forward to dining at El Mediterraneo since we walked by it in Zihuatanejo. Very inviting and two completely different seating areas from back garden style to a front open air European feel. We shared a delicious Greek salad, yes in Mexico. My creamy lemon dorado fish was perfect and my husband’s filet mignon with mushroom sauce melted in his mouth! So happy we made this choice! Great value too! We will be back before we leave!

All 6 of us enjoyed our dinner tonight. Escargot, portobello and artichoke apps were all tasty. We enjoyed linguini with shrimp, sashimi tuna and osso bucco. The service was spot on. Some members of the group have trouble making decisions and our servers were very patient. The sax player and percussionist added a nice musical background without being overpowering. As usual, Julian is the consummate host. Make sure to visit early in your trip, you will want to make another visit. FWIW top quality 3 course meal with wine for around 50 bucks a head. Great value.
