The reviews looked pretty good so we thought we would try this restaurant. It was a bit too much of a walk for my husband I think from where we stayed due to his recent double knee replacement, That being said he then lost patience while waiting for our order to be filled and brought to the table. He thought the server forgot to put the order in but it's Mexico time is different here.

Muy delicioso, la comida, el trato, el tiempo de espera fue muy breve. Excelente lugar, además del sazón, precios muy accesibles. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Llevamos 10 años viniendo aquí y sigue siendo uno de nuestros favoritos. Excelente comida mexicana servida por una familia maravillosa. Pruebe el filete de pargo, las enchiladas de camarón y el chile relleno de camarón. La mejor margarita de la ciudad.

COVID19 interrupted our annual trip to Troncones for a couple of years so we were excited to return this December and visit some of our old favorites. Chenchos is among these. We were so pleased to find it more or less unchanged, and what changes we found were to the good. The food is authentic Mexican. Our favorites are the shrimp and mushroom quesadilla appetizer and the whole red snapper fried with garlic. Both are best-of-class. My wife had the chile rellenos which were also terrific. The service, from Chencho himself was prompt, efficient and most pleasant. His English is good so non-Spanish speakers have nothing to worry about. As for the changes, the main restaurant is more or less the same, open walls with a thatch room covering a level and unbroken concrete floor. The vegetation aroundn eh restaurant has matured giving the place a cozy feel. It appears that there is a new gravel patio just in front of the restaurant which I imagine would be used for additional seating (we ate there in early December, just before the usual seasonal crowds). In short, we were so pleased to find an old favorite still providing great meals and a wonderful experience.

Allow Benito, Eri, and the amazing staff at Majahua Palms treat and spoil you. Amazing suites and bungalows, the ocean is only steps away from your front door. An amazing, and historic, poolside view sits just off of the cantina and restaurant. There are no bad meals at Majahua Palms. The only thing they cannot do, is what you do not ask of them. No request for drink or food was ever denied. Expand their creativity with your imagination. Affordable, reliable, relaxing, and perfect. These are some of the ways to des Majahua Palms and the staff. Many adventures await for you as well. Chartered fishing trips, which I did and snagged my first Sailfish, horseback riding, yoga, and massage. The massage therapist comes in from Zihuatanejo and she is amazing and skilled in her craft! She definitely adds to the relaxation at Majahua Palms. After an amazing 10 day stay, I am relaxed and ready to conquer the world back home. I will dearly miss my new family here at Majahua Palms. En Español Majahua Palms es el destino preferido en México. Fuera del camino de Zihuatanejo en Playa Troncones, Majahua Palms es la mejor escapada. Deja que Benito, Eri y el increíble personal de Majahua Palms te mimen y te mimen. Increíbles suites y bungalows, el océano está a solo unos pasos de tu puerta principal. Una vista increíble e histórica junto a la piscina se encuentra justo al lado de la cantina y el restaurante. No hay malas comidas en Majahua Palms. Lo único que no pueden hacer es lo que no les pidas. Nunca se negó ninguna solicitud de bebida o comida. Expande su creatividad con tu imaginación. Asequible, confiable, relajante y perfecto. 02/11/2023: Haven't stayed here, but the restaurant is GORGEOUS. The grounds are same and meticulously manicured. A real paradise.

11/04/2024: Hermosa vista. Comida deliciosa. Gran servicio. Tuve una velada increíble. El camino hacia el restaurante es bastante empinado, pero vale la pena subir por la vista y la comida. No puedo esperar para regresar.
05/01/2024: Tuvimos un servicio de primer nivel aquí. Comida increíble, experiencia increíble. La vista y el restaurante son preciosos. Pero lo más importante es que la gente nos trató como a oro.
