Café Juanita en Santa María Huatulco

Cené aquí después de tomar una clase de cócteles. Ambas fueron grandes experiencias. La clase fue relajada y realmente interesante. Altamente recomendado.

Excelente servicio por parte del personal y la comida es fenomenal. Héctor tiene un excelente servicio al cliente y los precios son muy razonables. Un lugar muy lindo y volvería en un abrir y cerrar de ojos.

A beautiful balcony / patio above the road across from Dreams, after a long day on the beach, you don’t really need a seaview for dinner. Ambience, space and service just great! Fish cevice, crab cakes, fish of the day (red snapper) all done to perfection. In short, at reasonable prices and the perfect Margaritas, a great place for drinks and dinner!

I took a taxi from the marina to Café Juanita to check out this hidden gem of a restaurant that was on recommended on several travel blogs. I arrived at 9AM and proceeded to climb the stairs to the second floor, where I found a nice table. There was only one other table being served when I got there. I ordered the Mango Smoothie and Morning Baguette. Both were very good, as well as the service and atmosphere.

Muy agradable para cenar, las bebidas y la comida eran muy buenas. La Margarita de piña picante fue fantástica, el plato principal de pescado estaba en el lugar, los pasteles de cangrejo fueron geniales. Muy buen cambio de la comida del resort!

Excelente cocina con toque internacional. Pedimos pescado del día y tacos de camarón. Solo hubiéramos preferido los tacos en tortilla de maíz, ya que los sirven en tortilla de harina, pero al parecer así lo piden los cliente extranjeros. Ambiente súper tranquilo para pasar la tarde y platicar.

This was a lovely first breakfast upon arriving in Huatulco! We really appreciated chatting with Jane and getting some local knowledge and advice. It’s a very cute restaurant with umbrellas for shade at each table on the patio and a pet turtle inside. We had the florentina baguette and green chilaquiles with chicken. Both were delicious! We also had the morning magic smoothie and iced coffee with coconut milk. It was nice to have a dairy-free alternative. I only wished that the drinks were bigger as I needed to order an additional iced coffee to get my caffeine fix 😅 We bought the mushroom salt from them and have used it with all of our cooking since we’ve been in Huatulco. The umami flavour really goes with everything!
