First time at this restaurant. Date night with my wife. Great menu choices, food cooked just right. The place is small with the barbecue grill near the front door so you will smell smoky when you leave. Updated 12/2023 added ceiling fans for better ventilation. The food is still fantastic!!!

Bruno’s is my favorite place for dinner Lakeside having been 3 times and never disappointed. Great value, amazing service and the food is to die for. Kudos to the grill-master. Grilling a perfect medium rare large baseball tenderloin (don’t cheap out and get the small one) is no small feat.

Every meal we've had at Bruno's has been 5 stars. The food, the service...all of it. When we want ribs and a baseball cut filet (I think we always order the same thing when we go!!) it is the place to go!

Perhaps our absolute favorite restaurant here Lakeside! The food is absolutely excellent!! Okay, let's start with the wonderful sides. A "real" baked potato (which is not usual to find here Lakeside). Excellent corn on the cob. Then you have your choice of meats (yes, they do have salmon ... just haven't tried it yet). The porterhouse! It was our first time having a porterhouse steak, it is for 2 people and we both thought it was great. The baseball filet is always, ALWAYS delicious. The steak sandwich sort of surprised me because it was not only so delicious, but also enough for a meal if you are not absolutely starving. The pork chops are tender and tasty. And the prime rib is excellent. But for us, what truly makes this our favorite are the people! Danni and Yami in particular. So attentive, so kind. Even if short staffed, you won't realize it, they work so hard. It has been here Lakeside for almost 40 years and I do believe and hope it will continue to serve the Lakeside residents.

We love this place whenever we get in the mood for a good steak. They have a great selection and can cook any of their steaks to perfection. It has been in the same place for at least a couple of decades. Time has changed the appearance and the great ambiance somewhat but still a great place! My favorite has always been the "softball" fillet.
