What a pleasant lunch on the other side of the border. The owner was very welcoming. The food was tasty. The price was affordable. A satisfactory lunch followed by a unique experience. Highly recommended.
My son and I visited Boquillas del Carmen on our recent visit to Big Bend National Park. We ate lunch at Boquillas Restaurant. The service was very good and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The food was terrific. My son had the cheese enchiladas and really enjoyed them. I had the tacos with cabrito and they were very good. I had not had cabrito since I was in Peru years ago, and I thought it was very good. We also had a couple of Mexican Coca-Colas made with real sugar instead of corn syrup and they were good out of the glass bottles. We sat on the outdoor patio and ate our meal and enjoyed the atmosphere at Boquillas. I highly recommend Boquillas Restaurant.
