Beachclub Buccanos Bar & Grill, México en Cozumel

Located in the heart of Cozumel’s tourist zone, Buccanos offers an upscale vibe by the sea. We made a reservation by phone and dined one evening on the rooftop. That was a better choice as a fishy smell permeated the enclosed space where patrons sit for dinner. It does have exquisite seafood items including lobster Caribbean style, fresh catch mahi mahi and octopus. The clientele was from the very top echelon of the society, both national and international, as it appeared when we were there. From the rooftop, we could see boats and ships sail by. Beautiful songs were blaring over the air that added to the vibe. No Mariachi band though, the personal touch I felt in another place couple of evenings ago was simply not there. The price tag for the enchanted evening? $175 for 3 without any alcoholic beverages. Oh yes, their portion size for every item was huge, make sure you have a big appetite before going there.
