Malpeque en Benito Juárez

We had two fabulous meals at Malpeque during our stay - both made special by our incredible server, Jamie! Highly recommend!

Jaime, Jaime, Jaime! What a jewel!! We stayed at the resort 5 nights and dined here 3. We met Jaime the first night and had an immediate connection. He made our evenings beautiful and made a place in all our hearts. Such wonderful memories! The last night we dined there, we had gone deep sea fishing earlier. The master chef there prepared our fish in 3 different manners, made sides, salads and sauces to go with it. Absolutely amazing!! We had a private room and a member of our group asked if we had the chance to put on different music. Not 3 minutes later, they brought in a large speaker so we could connect via Bluetooth. I was floored! When I say they go far and above, there is no match! We love all the staff and will be back! Thank you for everything you did to make our stay beyond spectacular! We love you, Jaime!

Jaime was a wonderful server!!! He was thoughtful and very detailed in every aspect!!! Go see him!! He goes above and beyond!

We dined at Malpeque twice during our stay. Juan Luis was an excellent server - attentive, warm personality and knowledgeable of the menu and preparation. He even provided me with a recipe for my favorite item on the menu (Beef Tartar). The menu was creative and all of the dishes were prepared and presented with the utmost care. Everything we tried was beyond delicious.

Fantastic meal. We arrived on the restaurants 2nd anniversary. They offered the main menu, but we chose the two special tasting menus, one vegan and one not. The dishes were incredible. Very creative. Served with style and panache. Both the chef and the manager came out and spoke with us. A truly unique experience. We loved it.

We had a beautiful meal outside. The polenta was some of the best I’ve ever had. I’m not a vegetarian, but the vegetable dishes were the highlight for me. UNBELIEVABLY good!!! And the presentation of each of the dishes is like edible art!

Súper rico todos los platos ! Excelente las salsas, sopa de elote , la ensalada de calabaza y el pollo a la brasa. Muy buen servicio Jaime fue nuestro mesero y nos atendió espectacular.

From the moment we walked into the resort, we felt at ease. The restaurant staff were amazing, including our waiter, Juan Luis. They were attentive, explained each dish as it came out, and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. The food was fabulous and fresh as well. An overall great dining experience.

The team is very attentive and the food is delicious. But it can be a bit hard for vegetarians to find something else than side dishes. But besides that we don’t have anything to complain about and really enjoyed our stay.

Excelente comida fresca de pescados y mariscos. Y la atención es única como la que tiene el hotel Waldorf Astoria. Ambiente cálidos y con la opción de elegir donde sentarse con A/C o afuera con la temperatura de ambiente. Recomiendo que lo prueben.

Great atmosphere, hospitality and the food was exceptional! Our waiter Juan Luis was very attentive, kind, funny and spaced our evening out brilliantly. Also, bartender Elma, hope I got the name right, was awesome and made excellent drinks. Highly recommend the Baja oysters, spiny lobster and raspberry tiramisu! Great experience for our anniversary!!!

Delicious food and wonderful service! My husband and I got full on the seafood platter for 2, which was just an appetizer and we ate that with the Zucchini salad and we split a bowl of the sea urchin soup! Wow! So good! We got stuffed with that! I had a mock tail called Revenge and that was so refreshing. My hubby had a a delicious glass of white wine from New Zealand and he was a happy camper.😁 Our waiter Sergio surprised us with a complimentary dessert for our 25th anniversary. Great restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria if you’re staying there!😉👍🏼

The Waldorf Astoria Cancun is remarkable. The property is beautiful and the food is amazing but the service makes this place a jewel. Enrique went out his way to make our dining experience unique and unforgettable!

Very good service, amazing food, it was my brothers birthday and they gifted us with a complimentary white chocolate tiramisu. Many courses served throughout the meal and once again, amazing service, was very pleased with my experience here, would recommend and come again

Excellent cocktails and mock-tails! The fish of the day was perfectly cooked and the Tiradito and salmon appetizers were also delicious! My husband also loved the colossal shrimp. Enrique was an excellent and attentive server with great recommendations. We’ll be back!

From the moment the hostess sat us down we were greeted with a very kind and friendly server, Orlando. He gave us cocktail recommendations, explained what the catch of the day was, their popular dishes, and was extremely attentive. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and they treated us to a small cake and a small cocktail on the house. Overall our experience was a 10/10. Highly recommend coming here! The food was amazing and delicious. Ask for Orlando, he gave us world class service! The manager also came and introduced himself and checked in on how we were enjoying the service.

Malpeque is delicious! We celebrated our anniversary dinner here and it was incredible. Enrique was our waiter and he was on top of it. Every recommendation was spot on. We started with Sudden Deaths, a tequila cocktail, and they were a perfect way to start the dinner. We had the tuna crudo, whole sea bass, cauliflower and asparagus finished with a chocolate mouse cake- nothing was miss! Treat yourself to this amazing restaurant. You will be so happy you did!

A wonderful meal during a couples stay at the Waldorf Astoria Cancun. The waiter, Sergio, was fantastic! Our food was delicious - we had the octopus, tuna crudo, steak and squid ink pasta. The service and attention to detail was astounding, from the welcome amuse bouche to the final complimentary mezcal tasting - A+ all around! Thank you Sergio for giving us a memorable dinner in a a beautiful spot.
