Cassa Ceviche

05/03/2024: Great food but for a hefty price. Ended up paying $150 US + tip for two people. We had the octopus starter, a margarita and a beer, and 2 ceviches. Was our first restaurant in our trip so had trouble with the money conversion (from Canada) so we didn't realize right away what the prices were. I guess we learned!
Atmosphere and service was good but the back area wasn't available which would be nice if it was, nicely lit area with a big tree. For those prices, I would expect a better quality of décor / more polished look (tables are essentially sitting on cinder blocks and floor was uneven).
02/02/2024: PROS: Nice cozy place,
CONS: small (appetizer like) portions for very high prices. We paid MXN400 for what you see in the picture.
Stuff in kitchen (bearded guy with ponytail) constantly licking his fingers, touching his face and then food without washing hands.
Nice level of serving, but not for the area. Especially with the prices.

10/02/2024: Honestly, Nizuc is pretty good. Really enjoy most of my time here. The location is fantastic being close to the airport and the grounds are stunning. The service is really good, just not quite 5*. My complaints would only be in 3 areas: the service at the beach, pool, or room is slow; almost always 30m behind what you want. The Bluetooth speakers in the rooms just don’t work(wish I had packed my own). Lastly, would be the prices for everything; if the service was more prompt than it would be acceptable… it’s currently on pace with Applebees.
