The food was amazing, best pork, beef and fish tacos in Cabo, great drink and wine menu, great service and charming interior. We’re in Cabo for a week and I’m already looking forward to coming back before we leave!

04/06/2023: This lovely little joint caught our eye on the way back from a sunset cruise at the marina. Initially you notice the nightclub, called the nowhere bar, but tucked right next door is a true Italian spoon called, The Kitchen by Nowhere. Upon seating, we were greeted by restaurant owner, Mario, who displayed a jovial Italian pride that was infectious and made us immediately feel right at home. He recommended a white wine that was nothing short of perfection, and he kindly attended to our needs throughout the evening. The enthusiasm and passion he took in his service was something we desired apart from the gimmick and hustle of the marina. The marina views and full moon made for a romantic evening, but the food was the star of the night. We started with a Caesar salad and calamari. The Caesar was delicious, but the calamari deferred from my Italian roots with the tartar aioli. I would rather have marinara, which Mario whipped up upon request. For our main entrees, we enjoyed the sea bass and fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and I am honestly at a loss if this was the best homemade pasta and Alfredo I have ever had in my life, which is honestly saying something. The meal was completed by a shot of limoncello and the homemade panna cotta. So delicious. We ate at several local joints but this was one of my favorites when visiting Mexico. This place may be overcast by many other lager eateries, but I definitely recommend if looking for some simply delectable and authentic Italian in Cabo! 25/03/2023: Ivan was referred to me by a longtime resident who lives here and the US. William said it was the BEST and I totally agree. Being from Hawaii I love anything from the ocean but Ivan’s cheviche is “like no other” I’ve tasted. He is located on the street corner by the lighthouse & boat marina, you can’t miss Ivan’s CEVICHE banner. I bought all 3 different types of ceviche he had and all 3 are UNBELIEVABLE. You don’t have to take my wort but the other comments all agree and say how good it is. I’ll be coming back every year because no that I’m retired and IVAN’s ceviche is a mandatory stop. MAHALO Ivan.🤙🏽

05/06/2023: I felt your food pricing and service charges were outrageous. I felt like I was being fleeced every time I ordered a drink or food. Just because I can afford to spend 5k a night does not mean I don't pay attention to everything else. Also, tipping is earned not to be expected. I should have the right to chose not have it added it for me.

05/06/2023: Second trip to Las Ventanas, incredible stay, always top notch. Staff incredibly friendly! Resort is first class from Arrival to Departure.

28/05/2023: I don't think I have ever bought a t-shirt at a restaurant before, but I did at La Picazon. It was that good. We came for lunch. The atmosphere was incredible; the table was beautifully set; a plate of apps were waiting for us. The food was simple but incredible. Highlights include the best coconut shrimp I have ever tasted, a smoked marlin tacone that was flavorful enough to be mistaken for bacon, and grilled fish in a white wine sauce that was near perfect. The restaurant is admittedly—perhaps proudly—difficult to find. You've got to either take a boat or a dirt road that goes on for ages. But the secluded vibe is part of the magic. It's a bit like a beachside restaurant you'd find in Europe but without the pretense. If you're in the area (or near enough to the area) head over. It's really something.

02/06/2023: I recently moved to Cabo and found this restaurant nearby. It sits high up with a wonderful view and amazing food. The service is fantastic. They have a truffle wagyu pasta they prepare in front of you in a cheese wheel. It is to die for.

02/06/2023: Had the time of my life for my birthday dinner! Our seat faced the marina so the view was amazing. We ate steak, lobster, and shrimp. Everyone was friendly and seemed to love their job. They danced with me and we laughed like long-time friends. Ivan was their singing live and will even let you sing the song of your choice with him. Our waiter was Jorge and treated us like family!

14/05/2023: Everything was perfect. Went with another couple for mother's day dinner. Wow, started out with the staff handing the 2 ladies at the table a beautiful rose. We ordered 2 lemon drop martinis that were excellent. We ordered an appetizer of Thai shrimp that was incredible. Then we ordered a table side Caesar salad that was the best! 2 of us ordered the lobster and shrimp risotto and it was superb. We also ordered a prawn dish and chicken cordon bleu which were also wonderful. We were also entertained by a wonderful guitarist playing Santana and other music. It actually got a little chilly and without asking one of the servers brought over a shawl and put it on our shoulders. A very personable and lovely evening.
