Great thing to do on your first evening, or any evening, in Holbox. We loved it. Thank you Lorena!! PROS - Went to three restaurants in one night that normally would have taken us 3 nights to do, and avoided trial & error on ordering & tried new places we might have skipped. - Total food consumption amounted to a full, filling dinner & all the tacos were excellent! - Cocktails were tasty - Lorena, the guide, was very cordial & bilingual, and hearing about her own travels & stories were warm & relevant - Learned history of tacos, more than the Americanized perception of them - Learned more history about Holbox, and it was a great way to spend an evening in “downtown” Holbox - Lorena asked about allergies & preferences when reserving the tour to tailor your tour to your tastes - The transport from our hotel to the meeting spot was right on time - She knows the locals & local spots CONS—Difficult to name any. - This is a Holbox thing, not a Lorena thing. If it’s rained recently, it’s hard to walk around the town. Bring a pair of washable shoes & plan to get your feet dirty—puddles and puddles.
