Café D'eli en Puerto Vallarta

I am well traveled, and well fed from the top of the food chain to the bottom. By far, this is one of the best restaurants I have ever had the occasion to visit. Luckily, we were able to get reservations within one day. We did not have any expectations and had not read any reviews. Just fell upon it by accident. What an understatement to say, “it was a find“. The sommelier was knowledgeable and patient. The food was excellent and the presentation lived up to the name of the restaurant. The garden was magnificent.

One of the best, if not THE best restaurants in PV! This is our second time here, the last being 15 years ago, and it’s only gotten better! Beyond the food and its presentation, the staff is incredibly attentive! Thank you Luis for your great service and allowing me to practice my Spanish with you.

We made a reservation 2.5 months in advance for 3 people for 7 pm. When we got there, we were told we had to wait 30 minutes to an hour to sit in the garden area due to a large private party. So we ordered a drink and waited about 45 minutes. When we got to our table, we saw about 5 or 6 empty duece tables and a couple of reserved tables for larger parties empty. Why couldn't they just move 2 tables together to accommodate us? Instead, we sat there waiting. We ordered our dinner, and they could not coordinate the appetizers. One person finished eating his appetizer, and about 7 minutes later, we got the other appetizer. The cheese appetizer was a disappointment because it was pretty bland. We all ordered the lamb and we were very disappointed because it was too salty. I actually could not eat it and just had 1 bite. I forgot to mention they would not let us walk through the restaurant because of the private party and made us walk through the kitchen and staff stairs, which was disgusting. As we were eating, they allowed the private party to turn off the music, and they made loud announcements about the next activity and where to meet, etc. So it was OK to inconvenience us with their announcements and walk us through the kitchen as if they were doing us a favor to let us eat their mediocre, overpriced food. It was a horrible experience of how management treated us throughout the whole night. The waiters were very nice, and none of this was their fault.

Cafe des Artistes is a top notch venue. The atmosphere, food and service is unbeaten anywhere in Puerto Vallarta! Leonel and Rodolfo took excellent care of us.

Súper encantada con el servicio, me encantó el lugar demasiada arte y no hablo solamente del arte visual si no del arte culinario sinceramente el tratar de atún fue mi favorito de la noche. Nuestro mesero Luis y su ayudante Andrés estuvieron en todo momento con nosotros explicándonos los platillos, realmente me voy con un excelente sabor de boca con toda la expresión de la palabra. Se siente tan acogedor venir aún lugar donde el trato es tan ameno, el sommelier simplemente una persona tan linda que te explica a detalle todo y te cuenta una historia. Podría decir que los restaurantes del chef Thierry sin duda le hace honor a su nombre está lleno de artistas. Muchas gracias por hacerme sentir tan bien.

Exotic setting, attentive and professional service, unique offerings. Our two waiters (Giovanni and Rudolpho) and the Maitre d were all quietly present, well-informed, helpful and very much invested in our comfort and pleasure. An enticing menu was offered that evening, each dish meticulously described by the staff: Appetizers - tomato and sea urchin marinade, and a morel filled ravioli - were excellent. We shared a roasted sea bass filet with green lentils finished with crust of au gratin potato - fresh, flavorful and satisfying. The hit of the evening for me was dessert: créme bruleé flavored with foi gras... truly unique and very enjoyable.

This place surprised me. Offer curbstop taxi service also. Food was presented well and ambience great. As far as taste and affordability it was 3 stars. because my crab was tasty.The pink mole.-Vegan was not good (very earthy tasting vegetables ,etc main reason I came. I gave 4 four stars I was able to get back to resort so late and given great Customer service.we were dressed down and not judged.

Awesome birthday dinner at Cafe Des Artistes. We enjoyed the 6 course tasting meal with wine pairing. Beautiful garden setting. Live musicians to serenade you. Service was outstanding. Thank you Jonathan and Rudolfo. The bday dessert presentation was amazing.

As always @cafedeartistes is the BEST place to celebrate Anything!! I mean each special moment! This time was my best friend's birthday. Giovanni and Paco were outstanding in their service as well as their connection to us by making us feel special. The food was delicious as well as presentation of it. Their time and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Best experience in fine dining, atmosphere beyond beautiful.

Eduardo and Ismael were very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious - particularly the duck taco and the mashed potatoes with the prime rib. The live music was fantastic and really added the to the ambiance and great decoration!

Made a last minute reservation for dinner and Rafael was very warm and professional. The food was also very good! The chilis were especially good.
